Hebrew School - KidZone
Our weekly KidZone meetings are where kids learn to love their Jewish identity and wear it with pride!
We run a fun filled, hands on, creative and playful program geared for ages 5-13. The kids love spending time with their Jewish friends and having a blast together, while learning about their heritage. Our students learn Hebrew reading through the Aleph Champ colour coded level system which is self motivating and excellent on all levels.
Aleph Champ
The Aleph Champion Hebrew literacy program is changing the way children in Hebrew Schools across the world feel about reading Hebrew. The way it used to be, students would dread taking out their reading books, having to go through the grueling drill of reading aloud and listening to everyone else in the class read. Now, ask any child in Hebrew School what is their favorite part of Hebrew School, and chances are, you will hear all about the Aleph Champion program.

To help foster community spirit and care, Chabad North QLD offers unique opportunities during Hebrew school, where the children have special extra curricula activities. We addresssocial issues by merging ancient texts and fun activities to bring the issues alive to the children, teaching the Jewish law of “Ahavat Yisrael” Love of our fellow people. Including programs visiting and assisting local services like the Army, Police and Fire brigade.
